Our
origin
RIA was born in mid-2018 as an initiative within the AgTech program of the NXTP Labs startup accelerator. In that first stage, we worked very intensively to understand the Argentine AgTech ecosystem, with an intense exploration of ventures and technologies that could help solve , through innovative digital or robotic technologies, challenges of agricultural production.
In mid-2020, after having intensely explored the ecosystem and experimented with new solutions, a new stage begins. This Second Edition of RIA begins in October 2020 with the incorporation of new members eager to work together in the adoption and implementation of technology to face the technological revolution of AGRO 4.0.
After 3 years of working to find the greatest needs of companies, we established the 3 pillars behind which we align ourselves to work today: Adoption of Technology, Sustainability and Innovation.
Purpose
“Our purpose is to identify and expose the problems and challenges of primary production and support areas. “We work with AgTech startups, product and service providers, and other actors in the agri-food chain to solve these problems in an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable way.”
Mission
“Our mission is to generate open innovation spaces such as exchange groups, projects and co-creation events. We create a collaborative learning environment between the members of the group, the community of AgTech entrepreneurs, the Agribusiness and other farmers. We work together on innovative technological solutions that best suit simplifying and solving the challenges of the industry's productive, commercial, administrative and financial processes in a sustainable way.”
Vision
“Our vision is to adapt and evolve as companies and individuals in a constantly changing world, driven by exponential technologies, new generations and a growing awareness of sustainability. We adopt and lead the technological-sustainable revolution to continue leading the primary production subsegment within the agri-food industry, producing healthy and sustainable foods for the world.”
